  1. You can also drag and drop audio and video files from within iTunes into AfterEffects. AfterEffects will link to the origional file location of the file. – Credit to Andrew Kramer of videocopilot.net for this awesome tip.
    Alternately you can drag from iTunes to your project folder and a copy of the file will be created, which can them be dragged into Aftereffects (if you want to keep everything together, or plan to package the project and send it off to another editor or etc.)
