OK – that’s a terrible lie. When I was in the 80’s it was an awkward time. The chicks didn’t dig me. I wasn’t on the football team. I watched Dr. Who and Star Trek, and did lots of other geeky stuff. I was more of a Screech than a Zach Morris. But heck, looking back on it, it was a time that gave rise to video games, leg warmers, and music videos – all cool stuff that we still love today (Wait. Am I the only one still wearing leg warmers?) – And VH1 won’t let me forget it.

And now, neither will my good friend Harry Frank. He’s about to release a new product called “Video Rock, “  an awesome new DVD library of pre-rendered QuickTime elements and still images set in a vintage style. It should be available November 2nd.

The DVD or download includes 12 After Effects templates, but the elements are useful for motion designers and editors alike. Use it with any QuickTime compatible application like Final Cut, Premiere, Avid Media Composer and more. Read more about it here.

Sorry, thats my personal mistake. What I meant is, that when I click on the image above, it directs me to a page in that website which states: Sorry, but what you are looking for isn’t here. Thanks in advance!

  4. Yup. Looks like he updated the site and got rid of the link for this one: http://www.graymachine.com/2009/10/video-rock/

(BTW, by the Updated git it HERE link, there’s an extra http which breaks the link.)
