*
Aharon Rabinowitz is a guy who is very fortunate to do what he loves. And he loves doing a lot of things, including animation, visual effects, motion graphics, creating cool software, and teaching people to do all of the above.
Aharon started off as a production intern at Sesame Street, and has since served as Animation Designer, Producer, and Technical Manager for several networks and production companies.
Today, Aharon is the Director of Communities for Red Giant, hosting Red Giant TV and working with the artists in Red Giant’s amazing community to help them create awesome. He is also a father of two amazing kids that are exhausting him, and who aren’t at all impressed by any of his work skills.
In the past, he’s been a Technology Commentator for National Public Radio, trained video professionals in and around NYC, and taught advanced animation courses techniques at Pratt Manhattan. Basically, he has expertise, or just enough knowledge to get by on, in all sorts of geeky stuff, and loves to talk about it even if you don’t want to hear it.
Aharon, being an overachiever, also co-runs After Effects New York, the world’s largest software user group (more or less). Learn more at http://www.AENY.org.
