So far it seems there are only a few questions we are regularly answering so we thought we’d answer them to everyone:
Downloading
Question 1: Why don’t my videos completely download and why won’t my videos open?
Answer: Being full HD, our clips can be quite large in file size so there can often be drop outs by ISP’s over the download period. The solution to this is by using a Download Manager, we recommend a few before you commence downloading.
Question 2: If I closed my download window, how can I re-download my clips?
Answer: We’ve set our site up so that your clips will remain available for download for 24 hours, all you have to do is select Purchased Clips under My Account and re-download.
Usage:
Question 1: Can I use the clips for a commercial/movie/DVD/internet video/video game… ?
Answer: The answer is pretty much yes, but please read on…
When you buy these clips you are buying the right to use them in your projects. If they’re videos or video games or something you’re putting on DVD, that’s absolutely fine – provided that the clips cannot be extracted in any way. So the rule of thumb is: if someone could remove the Crowd Control clip from your distributed end-product, and use it in another project, then you would not be allowed to use it.
If you’re making a DVD, or commercial, or video game, or screen saver, or whatever – you should be fine. But feel free to contact us if you have further questions.
The only other restriction is that you cannot use the clip in pornography or to defame the Crowd Control actor, in some way.
