I just found this site. (I had taken a break from all tutorials for a few months). Nice.
Speaking of forty two. I keep trying to throw myself at the ground and miss, but unless I have a plane strapped to me, I hit the ground every time. Maybe I need a new distraction.
Is there a way to generate particles using Particular in the previous release (not 2.0) from a precomp? I thought you could precomp a scene and have Particular generate particles from a random frame but I can’t seem to get it going…maybe it’s this tutorial I saw, and am crossing thoughts.
Yeah – just choose the Random Still frame option – after setting the particle shape to be Custom, and then choosing the custom layer.
